Our old fire in the kitchen was roaring today and while I was about to add another log, I thought I would show you the new arrangement I made on the mantel. You would now by now that this never stays the same for long and that the wreath and the frame used to grace my office originally, then our bedroom.
I will show you soon what else was changed around.
This image for me is real, my washing drying off to the right of the fire, the tea towel airing after washing the lunch dishes etc. Not staged, styled or tampered with...just life in all its simple beauty.
I was inspired after doing this mantel arrangement and went on to experiment on some new covers for the sofa and dye some fabric for my island rebuild.

While I was in this state of mind, I went on to make some new covers for the store, like this lumbar cover in my hand dyed cotton...
and this Parisian Bus Roll in reverse. Not the usual black background. Simple and stylish.
...and my favourite, Ginger Jar Clay Tags.
