Most of you know by now that I am a serial re-decorator/mover when it comes to vignettes in our own home...yesterday was no exception!!
Before I was bitten by the bug to move things around, this is what the top of our TV unit looked like. Some of my Ginger Jar collection lived up here where I could see them all the time...but I was bored.
This is what the top of the TV unit looks like now.
This zinc pot was one one the pieces my dear Mum and Dad brought down for me on their last visit and I still hadn't used it yet. It is now the proud holder of my Hydrangeas. I did keep the shot from our wedding up here too. I love this photo and apparently it is great Feng Shui for this spot with the red around the photo...adding the round ginger jar and the little white artichoke was a given seeing I love these two together...and of course my little pewter Ampersand and some of my 'white' books.
I am quite happy with this paired back display now.
The $5.00 sideboard didnt escape the change around either.
I brought in the blue and white floor cushions that the boys like to flop on in the afternoons to and they pick up my china so well.
You can also make out my little stool makeover I posted about a while back by the TV unit too.
Most of these Ginger Jars were picked up by my super-bargain-shopping Mum!
And the mirror was one of here $10.00 finds.
Mum is amazing when it comes to scouting beautiful items.
Really happy with this look and I feel like it has welcomed Spring too. I also lifted up the floor rug, which is something we do every year as it is much easier with the boys running in and out of the French doors when they are covered in grass etc to just get the broom out. All I have to do now is change the cushions and the prints in the frames by the doors and I will be happy.

I removed my jug and bowl from this little table by the French doors and added this beautiful wire basket and my china balls.
Must get some more to fill it a little more!
You can see it here by the doors to the right. The $5.00 sideboard didnt escape the change around either.
This is where the jug and bowl was moved to as well as some of my tiny china collection and some good books, including the Domino Book Of Decorating.
The other little cupboard by the back door had a change too. This is what you see through the glass in the door as you enter the room.I brought in the blue and white floor cushions that the boys like to flop on in the afternoons to and they pick up my china so well.

Feels like Spring and Summer to me now.
