Last week I told you about the Chaise I bought from the local Second Hand Dealer for a song...here it is in its old glory below.
I seen it under a cover on the dealers veranda and watched until he put it in the shop. I love the carved detail (top photo) and little turned legs.
I made a ticking old style mattress for it, which was very simple.
And now it is in our bedroom. As you can see I cut the foam in here...it was all over the floor! I still have to make a bolster pillow for it and some grain sack cushions....
and I have just bought this lovely Amy Butler fabric to make some covers for it too. I want it to have a pop of colour on it which I think will look nice with the burlap grain sacks.
